I completed a one-week academy in Fairplay, Maryland, where I gained extensive knowledge about dog psychology and its application in dog training. Throughout the week, I worked with a shelter dog pictured below, applying what I learned in class to teach essential skills such as walking nicely on a leash, sitting, staying, standing, lying down, leaving items, spinning, trading, touching, and more. I am excited and fully prepared to begin training puppies. I am also continuing my education through another program with CATCH Canine Training Academy and attend additional in-person academies to further develop my skills in addressing behavioral challenges like barking, leash reactivity, and fear. I look forward to working with you and your dog.
Another goal of mine is to help dogs feel more comfortable at the vet. I aim to teach them how to lie down for procedures willingly, remain calm during blood draws or nail trims, and accept other necessary behaviors. By doing so, I hope to make your pet’s vet visits less stressful and help them live a long, happy, and healthy life.
Additionally, I’m pleased to offer a 10% discount on each session for any dog that has been adopted!
Pictured to the left is Gotti, the handsome and amazing one-year-old shelter dog that I had the pleasure of being paired with for a week. We worked on basic commands together. Working with him not only helped him grow but also strengthened my confidence in my dog training skills. I’m so proud of this sweet boy.
